Jesus prayed...a lot. When you read the Gospels, you continually see Jesus making time to pray. He sacrificed sleep and recreational time so He could spend time with His Father in prayer. The overwhelming majority of Christians fail to follow Christ's example of devoted prayer. But God has graciously called New Life back to the essential business of prayer, and we are committing time and energy to become (in the words of Jesus) "a house of prayer".
We invite you to join us for a Prayer Revival at NLCC from September 6-13. This time of concentrated prayer is our local expression of a Global Week of Prayer organized by Prayer International. It will consist of two parts:
1. We are asking the NLCC family to pray 24 hours a day for that entire week. You can sign up to take as many specific hours in that week as you feel led to take. Prayer guides and materials will be provided. You can pray at home anytime, or you can pray at the church between 8am-8pm each day.
2. The second part of our prayer revival is a nightly corporate Prayer/Worship Service. Monday-Saturday of that week we will meet for a time of worship and prayer at 6:30pm (Saturday at 6pm). Each of these nights will have a unique prayer focus.
We hope you'll be a part of this very special experience as we cry out to God for salvations, headings, miracles, greater manifestations of His glory and presence...for REVIVAL!
